Lakers Burn Blazers 96-76!

Ok, if you are a longtime Laker fan, you have to be excited about this team this year. Who would ever expect to see Twin Towers on the court and fully integrated into Tex Winter's Triangle, a fav of Coach Phil Jackson, and a major contributor to the rings that grace almost every finger.
The opportunity to have 2 7 footers on the court (Bynum & Gasol) and have it fully integrate into the triangle offence is truly a feat, but I think we got a glimpse at the ass kicking these giants will be inflicting. How perfect to see Gasol post up and shoot while Bynum is there to get the rebound if needed....and speaking of needed, this may very well be the missing puzzle piece to complete the picture perfect season, and if this game was any indication of that futre I'd say that picture is looking good.

Bynum played 27 min...and had a rough start. Odom was injured tonight, letls hope itls nothing serious (xrays are inconclusive as of a few min ago) we'll have to wait and see tomorrow when they do a MRI. Lakers played Awesome defense tonight, 8 steals and 7 blocked shots. and very effective at containing the Blazers. .

Trevor Ariza 11 pts 2 rebounds r blocked shots, I think....and he played amazing tonight.

Lakers are 1-0 as we take on the Clippers tomorrow night....
