Farmar Works Double Shift Tonight

Los Angeles Lakers' point guard Jordan Farmar may be written into the record books tonight as the only player to play in 2 different leagues in the same day. Earlier this afternoon, Farmar played in the Lakers' developmental league, the D-Fenders, who played against the Anaheim Arsenalsthis afternoon and scored 18 points and playing 40 minutes. So, could he play again in the game tonight at 6:30 against the Sacramento Kings?

"The thinking behind it is that it would be really great to have Jordan get a game in which he really has sustained minutes to play - get some shots, get back in rhythm again," Lakers Head Coach Phil Jackson said.
No player has ever appeared in both a D-League and an NBA game in the same day.
It remains to be seen if Farmar plays for both the D-Fenders and Lakers in the same day. "He might," Jackson said. "If Mike Bibby gets fouls on our guards, we might need him."

So it remains to be seen if Farmar will play tonight or not, known for for his hard working ethic on the court, we'll just have to see how hard working he is after tonights game against the Kings.
