Pre-Game Ramble: Lakers vs Hawks (LIVE)

Okay Kids, you're probably already aware of the Jason Kidd trade going through, more on that in a future post.

I am writing this LIVE from Staples, (as I do most home games, make sure you bookmark this page or RSS).

The Lakers trail their current season series with Atlanta 0-1 after sweeping last season's series with Atlanta 2-0. The Lakers have not lost a season series to the Hawks since 1978-79 (1-3) but have split the season series with Atlanta 6 of the last 7 years. The Lakers are 5-3 against Atlanta all time at Staples Center and are 7-3 in their last 10 overall home games (14-3) in their last 17 home games). Hawks assistant coach Larry Drew played 2 seasons with the Lakers (1989-91), averaging 4.4 points & 2.assists in 128 games.

UPDATE:
Lakers took a commanding lead in this game, leading at one point with more than 40 points, this one is in the fridge as there is less than 3 minutes left in the game with a score of 115 to 87.....wow, as I'm writing this Coby Karl dunks with his first points of the game....and the crowd chants..."Coby, Coby!"

FINAL SCORE: Lakers 122 Hawks 93
